Goomba cake

It was my boyfriend Peter's birthday this week and he loves video games, so i made him Goomba from Super Mario Bros. This is my favourite cake i've made in the past five years or so i've been baking - i hope you like him too!

My Goomba cake was made out of the following:

• Head and body: chocolate mud cake in a Wilton giant cupcake tin, covered with milk chocolate ganache
• Feet: LCM (Kelloggs rice bubble bars) x 5
• Details and Mario figurine: white fondant coloured with various Wilton icing colours.

Giant cupcake adventures

My latest creation was a giant cupcake for a friend's birthday, plus three dozen cupcakes. Pretty happy how it turned out considering it's only the second time i've used my Wilton giant cupcake tin.
